What I’m Playing Lately…
This microtonal piece comes from Daniel Grabois’ “Quarter Tone Manual for French Horn,” available from his site here. If it sounds out of tune, that’s on purpose. Grabois makes use of the unique characteristics of the horn to play quarter tones, the notes between the keys you might find on a piano.
